Publishing your Work

The Edwin Mellen Press publishes research in the Humanities and Social Sciences that contributes to the advancement of scholarship. We require no author payments or subsidies because research libraries purchase our books in sufficient quantities to cover our costs. Harvard University library has over 4000 Mellen titles, the Biblioteque Nationale in Paris and the University of Toronto have over 3500 and Oxford University has over 2000. Our editors are all experienced scholars and they know the value of time and they will respond to your book proposal within one month.
Tell us the following four things:

• What will be the contribution of your book to scholarship.

• What is your academic qualification and degrees through which you have learnt the techniques of scholarly research.

• Who has evaluated, or will agree to evaluate, your project.
  (preferably two references)

• Give us your name, mailing and email addresses, and your day + evening telephone numbers.
